Who we are

AUSSIEONTHELINE is a business name held by AUSSIELINEIN PTY LTD (ABN 47 698 466 714, ACN 698 466 714). In this policy, “we” and “us” mean that company when it operates Aussie On The Line. Our business address is Unit 29, 97 Creek St, Brisbane City QLD 4000.

This policy covers our website, direct correspondence and the information available to us through Aussie On The Line social pages. A third-party site or app also applies its own privacy terms when you use it.

What we collect and how

Website and free guide

You do not need to give us your name or email address to use the buyer check or open the free guide. Your buyer-check choice changes the question displayed in your browser; the site's code does not send that choice to us or store it. The current website has no account, contact form, mailing-list sign-up or advertising pixel. Its own code does not set tracking cookies. Cloudflare, which delivers the website, handles technical data needed to deliver and protect it, including IP address, browser details, pages requested and access time.

Website analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled for this website. When Cloudflare adds its browser beacon, it measures page views, referring pages and loading performance and sends those measurements to Cloudflare. We can see website-level reports in the Cloudflare dashboard. Cloudflare says the beacon does not use cookies or browser storage, and that its real-user monitoring service discards the IP address received with the beacon request at its nearest data centre. We do not use the buyer-check choice as an analytics event.

Messages and social pages

If you contact us, we receive what you choose to send: for example, your name or account name, contact details, message and attachments. If you comment on, follow or message an Aussie On The Line social page, we may see the account details and interactions that platform makes available to us. Public comments may be visible to others. The platform separately handles information under its own privacy policy.

Please do not send passwords, payment card details, identity documents, sensitive personal details or another person's private information unless we have asked for it and explained why. If we receive personal information we did not ask for, we assess whether we could lawfully have collected it. If we could not, we take steps to destroy or de-identify it as soon as practicable, where lawful and reasonable.

Affiliate links

We may earn a commission from a disclosed affiliate link. The current website and free guide contain no affiliate purchase link. If we share one on a page or social post, the seller or affiliate network may receive referral information from the link or code and handle any purchase under its own privacy policy. We will disclose the commercial relationship close to the relevant recommendation. Before adding a referral cookie, pixel or similar tool to our own website, we will explain the data handling here and give any necessary collection notice.

How we use information

We use information to deliver and protect the website, respond to messages, manage our social pages, deal with requests or complaints, and meet legal obligations. We may use general themes from questions to improve our educational content. We will not publish an identifiable person's story, words or image as a case study or testimonial without separate permission.

We do not add you to marketing messages because you opened the guide or asked a question. If we offer an email or message list, joining will be a separate choice. Commercial messages will identify the sender and include a working way to unsubscribe.

You can use the public site without identifying yourself to us. We need a way to reach you if you want a reply. A future paid service would need information to manage access and payment; we would explain that before collecting it.

Who receives information

Our website provider handles site requests. An email or messaging provider handles messages sent to us. Social platforms handle interactions on their services and make some of those interactions available to us. We may share information with a service provider when needed for its work, or where required or authorised by law. We do not sell lists of personal information.

We are considering paid membership, group clinics, optional recordings and transcripts, and a member AI tool. These services are not available through the current website. Before any of them opens, we will explain the information required, the providers involved, who can see it, the retention periods and any recording or AI choices at the point of collection. We do not collect information now for an unknown future service.

Overseas handling

We are likely to disclose website request data to Cloudflare to deliver and protect this site. Cloudflare is based in the United States, where it may receive that information. Its network may also route requests through other countries. Routing through another country does not, by itself, mean we have disclosed information to a recipient there.

When you use a social page, you give information to that platform under its policy; we receive the interactions it makes available to us. Before we use another provider to receive personal information from us outside Australia, we will identify the likely recipient countries here where practicable.

Security and retention

Website request data is handled through Cloudflare. Messages remain in the email or social account through which they arrive, and in any business record needed to deal with the matter. We take reasonable steps to protect information we hold from misuse, interference and loss, and from unauthorised access, change or disclosure. Access is limited to people who need it for business work.

We keep correspondence and service records while needed to respond, provide a service, meet a legal obligation or deal with a dispute. When we no longer need personal information for a lawful purpose and are not required to keep it, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it. A third-party platform may keep its own copy under its policy.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, request access or ask us to correct an error. Write to Privacy contact, Aussie On The Line, Unit 29, 97 Creek St, Brisbane City QLD 4000. Tell us what information you mean and how we can reply. We may need to verify your identity before giving access or making a change. If we cannot meet a request, we will explain why and what you can do next.

Use the same address to make a privacy complaint. Describe what happened and the outcome you seek. We will acknowledge it, review the relevant information, ask for more detail if needed, and give you a written outcome. If we need more than 30 days, we will tell you why and when to expect a response. If you are unhappy with our response, or have not received one within 30 days, you may be able to complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. The OAIC will assess whether it can deal with your complaint.

Changes to this policy

We review this policy when our information handling changes. If we add a membership, live clinic, recording, AI tool, marketing list or new tracking technology, we will update the relevant details before it begins and provide a clear notice where information is collected. The review date above shows when this version was last checked.
